SERVING RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITIES FROM MIDDLE POINT TO EARLS COVE/EGMONT

The 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Pender Harbour and Area Residents Association (PHARA) was held immediately following the April 30 Town Hall at the Community Hall.

PHARA is pleased to welcome Brent Mulhall and Scott Topham as newly elected directors. Also re-elected to two-year terms were President Peter Robson, Vice-President Suzanne Yuile, Director Bill Charlton, and Director Eliza Kinley. They join ongoing directors David Blaiklock (Treasurer), Sean McAllister, and Sage Robson (Membership Director).

“We’re thrilled to bring some fresh energy and perspective to the Board,” said President Robson. “Brent and Scott are great additions, and with two new action-oriented directors at the helm, I’m excited about what we can accomplish in the months ahead.”

During the AGM, members also approved a resolution extending the maximum number of consecutive terms a director may serve from three to five.

Following the AGM, at PHARA’s most recent board meeting on May 13, the Board welcomed an additional director, Bob Baker, president of the Pender Harbour branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. Bob has served the Legion with distinction, and PHARA is delighted to have him on board.
